WhiteWater signs major SK deal

Canada-based WhiteWater West has signed a US$22m contract with Lotte World for the development of a new waterpark at Kimhae near Busan, South Korea.

In what has become one of the global waterpark industry's largest contracts, the deal will see WhiteWater manufacture, engineer and install 100 per cent of the attraction's indoor and outdoor experiences.

Lotte World Waterpark is due to open in May 2013 and will feature rides such as the new Family Rattler and Family Python, the Family Boomerango, an AquaLoop and the Abyss.
