WWA symposium takes place next month
The World Waterpark Association's European Waterpark Symposium takes place in Coatbridge, Scotland, UK, on February 28-29.
Hosted by The Time Capsule, a leading water leisure facility, informative education sessions at the symposium are planned to help sector professional grow their waterpark businesses.
The owners of The Time Capsule will provide an introduction, overview and tour of their facility, while the seminar programme will include session on waterpark refurbishment and energy conservation; the latest developments in water quality technologies; solving day-to-day waterpark issues; taking revenue to the next level; and developments in the safety sector. There will also be several networking events.
The Time Capsule is the brainchild of the former Monklands District Council and represented the local authority's commitment to developing tourism in the region. The venue was designed by architects from Limbrick Grayson and remains one of Scotland's premier leisure facilities.
Other forthcoming WWA events include the 2012 Asian Symposium, which takes place in Hong Kong on June 5-6, and the 32nd Annual Symposium and Trade Show, which will be held at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas, US, on October 1-5.
