Visitor numbers up for EAG
Detailed analysis of visitor statistics has confirmed a third successful year for EAG International Expo in spite of the difficult economic circumstances faced by the amusements and coin-op sectors.
Attendee numbers for the first day of the show, which took place in London, UK, last month, were the highest on record and total footfall for the three days totalled 7,006, an increase on 2011's total of 6,691.
The number of individual visitors was 5,333, indicating that an increasing number of visitors chose to make return visits on different days.
Commenting on the attendance, EAG International Expo chairman Martin Burlin explained: "Over 31 per cent of visitors were operators of coastal and inland arcades - a sector which, in the UK, has borne the brunt of a difficult economic climate and punitive legislative proposals."
EAG International Expo 2013 will take place at Excel London on 22nd-24th January 2013.
