Renovation planned for Madame Tussauds

UK-based management firm Hollyer Projects has been appointed to oversee the proposed refurbishment of the Madame Tussauds Las Vegas in the US.

The attraction, which is operated by Merlin Entertainments, is to undergo work in two stages over a two-year period in order to bring it up to date with the Madam Tussauds brand.

During the first phase of work, the box office and front entry area will be renovated, and the existing Speed room will be re-themed as a Film room. The Sports room will also be expanded.

The second stage will incorporate an update of the Music room and the creation of a new Madame Tussauds Historical room, together with a Behind the Scenes area.
