Increased exhibitor numbers for CAE
The 22nd annual China Attractions Expo takes place at the Beijing Exhibition Centre on March 14-16, and an increased number of both domestic and overseas companies have already booked stand space at the show.
According the show organisers, CAAPA, preparations for CAE 2012 have been going well, with 100 companies from China and 16 from abroad set to exhibit at the Beijing expo.
With a burgeoning middle class, China's amusement and entertainment industry continues to grow at a rapid rate, and CAAPA said CAE has not been affected by the economic downturn.
"Over the past 30 years, China has changed its role successfully from a manufacturing hub to a creation hub," CAAPA said. "More and more people in China are visiting attractions and playing arcade video games.
"This increasing demand is leading to greater attractions, and China's reputation is being uplifted globally."
Overseas exhibitors at CAE 2012 currently include Huss Rides, Showtime, Subway, KCC, DreamPark, Maurer Sohne, Triotech, Simtech, ProSlide, Polin, Whitewater West, Prime Play, Arihant and Moser.
"More and more foreign visitors have registered to exhibit online," the organisation added. "Non-Chinese exhibitors are important for us and we continue to attract an increased number of companies.
"Due to our continued efforts, CAE continues to grow and become more competitive. Our co-operation with overseas sales agency L&A has been a big success. The company's knowledge and media connections have helped our growth tremendously."
