Harry Potter heads to California
Following the resounding success of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, which opened at Universal Studios Orlando last year, a new version of the attraction is set to open at Universal Studios Hollywood in 2016.
The project, according to Universal, is expected to cost "several hundred million dollars", creating more than 1,000 jobs. According to the most recent operator figures, the Orlando Wizarding World of Harry Potter drove a 68 per cent increase in attendance at the theme park during the first three months of 2011. |
