China now 'creation hub', CAAPA states
Over the past 30 years, China has successfully changed its role from a manufacturing hub to a creation hub, according to officials at CAAPA, the country's amusement trade body.
The association's comments came ahead of the 22nd annual China Attractions Expo, which takes place at the Beijing Exhibition Centre on March 14-16.
According to CAAPA, preparations for CAE 2012 have been going well, with 100 companies from China and 16 from abroad set to exhibit at the Beijing expo.
Overseas exhibitors at CAE 2012 currently include Huss Rides, Showtime, Subway, KCC, DreamPark, Maurer Sohne, Triotech, Simtech, ProSlide, Polin, Whitewater West, Prime Play, Arihant and Moser.
"More and more foreign visitors have registered to exhibit online," the organisation said. "Non-Chinese exhibitors are important for us and we continue to attract an increased number of companies."
