On November 1, Leolandia theme park in northern Italy closed its doors on a record-breaking 2015 season.

After achieving a rise in customer satisfaction this year, the park achieved a 20 per cent increase in year-on-year revenues.

Commenting on the park’s recent opening of Peppa Pig World, Massimiliano Freddi, vice president of strategic development at Leolandia, said: “The choice to focus on a beloved character like Peppa Pig was surely a winning one.

“Peppa Pig’s World was the most loved attraction, with an average score of 9.6 out of 10. Thanks to the Pigs’ family, the average age of our children guests has lowered, finally proving that even the little ones can have safe fun in an amusement park.”
