Six Flags shutters B&M stand-up coaster (1 view)

Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom is removing its popular Chang stand-up roller coaster.

The park began dismantling its record-breaking ride last month to make way for its 2010 waterpark expansion.

Originally installed in 1997 as B&M's largest stand-up coaster project, Chang stands 154ft tall, has 4,155ft of track and features five inversions.

According to Six Flags officials, the ride will be rebuilt at another as-yet-unnamed park in the Six Flags chain.
