Disney pre-empts spread of swine fluThe Walt Disney Company has ordered 200,000 hand sanitisers to be installed at is resorts, as the group strives to control the global spread of the H1N1 virus. The group's Parks and Resorts division, which operates Disney theme parks in the US, France, Japan and Hong Kong, plans to erect hand sanitiers stations at select high-traffic areas throughout its venues. These locations include the entrance areas to the parks, where Disney requires guests to place their index finger on a touchpad scanner; its resort hotel lobbies; and character meet-and-greet locations. Disney also said that all employees have received full hygiene training and have been given free seasonal flu shots. |
