KCC Entertainment Design was established in 2000 with the intention of designing and building indoor karting centres.

After realising its first concept in Hong Kong, the Belgium-based company had many requests to build karting centres in the US.

The design and export of karting circuits quickly evolved into the design and realisation of indoor family entertainment centres when the company was asked to design and build an indoor facility in Saudi Arabia.

KCC finished this project with great success and rapidly became a world leader in the family entertainment business.

Now, KCC Entertainment Design has created more than 100 projects in over 25 different countries worldwide.

Some of the group's ambitious projects have won a series of prestigious awards, including the IAAPA Brass Ring award for the World’s Best FEC with Happylon in Moscow, Russia.

"Business was very good for KCC in the first half of 2012," commented business development manager, Julie Soete. "We established contracts in countries such as Ukraine, Russia, Morocco, India, the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

"These deals were mainly for indoor family entertainment centres, but some were also for outdoor theme parks and sports centres. We also participated in several interesting exhibitions during the first half of 2012, where we set up important contacts."

Soete added: "We recently launched the new kids 'edutainment' concept, Minopolis: The Kids City. It is a unique city designed for children aged between four and 12 where they learn about life in an educational and playful way.

"By executing jobs at the themed stations kids earn 'Eurolinos' and subsequently can save or spend the proceeds of their work – just like in real life."

KCC is currently working on 30 projects worldwide in Russia, Ukraine, Romania, Algeria, Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Iran, Kuwait, Lebanon, Denmark and the UAE. The group is also expanding its business throughout the whole of Asia.
